Dreams Can Come True People who use wheelchairs can ride horses and experience the freedom of movement. People who cannot speak, or hear, or see can communicate with a horse. Children with development disorders or cerebral palsy can do something special, empowering, and fun. Horseback riding can help to develop coordination, prevent contracture, increase muscle strength and normalize muscle tone. Riding can help mobilize the trunk and pelvis, improve balance, promote independence, improve attention span and create a means for improved society integration.
